The brief.
What was broken, what we set out to change, and what moved.
01
Challenge
Automated agents were taking actions on live campaigns, but operators had little visibility into what an agent did, why, and how to step in.
02
Goal
Make automated actions transparent and controllable without slowing teams down.
03
Outcome
HITL

Dashboards

My role
Senior Product Designer
Context
Northwind AI brings AI agents into everyday marketing operations. Agents plan, segment and deliver campaigns alongside human operators.
My role
I defined the UX patterns for agentic workflows across the suite and designed the core operator surfaces.
Approach
Agent dashboards that show what each agent is doing, waiting on, or has finished.
Operator consoles with clear controls to pause, edit or take over an agent’s task.
Human-in-the-loop review placed where mistakes are costly, not everywhere.
Delivery observability, so teams can trace any message back to the agent decision behind it.
Outcome
A shared set of patterns for agentic interfaces that keeps automated actions transparent and controllable across products.
Reflection
Agentic UX is less about chat and more about accountability. Operators need to know who did what, and how to undo it.
